Why is using Accredited Staging Professional Master important?

You may ask yourself, “Why do I need or want to have my home staged by an Accredited Staging Professional® (ASP®) or Accredited Staging Professional Master® (ASPM®)?”

“What is an ASP® or ASPM®?” And, “Can’t anyone stage a home professionally?”

Many people have started to call themselves Home Stagers.  They think that if they have a flair for design, they can call themselves Stagers. Self-Proclaimed Stagers have no training or professional home staging training or experience.  They haven’t studied how to stage a home.  At Transition Home Staging all of our stagers are ASP® or ASPM® certified.

An ASP® or ASPM® graduate holds a Certificate of Accreditation and is thoroughly trained to Stage Homes by the Creator of Home Staging®, and founder of StagedHomes.com, Barb Schwarz.  The ASP®/ASPM® Designation is the benchmark of excellence and training in the Staging Industry.  An ASP® or ASPM® has the skills and knowledge to serve their client in the best way possible at a reasonable cost.  While serving their clients, they follow a professional code of ethics, have set policies and standards of excellence and hold staging insurance.  These trained professionals are entrepreneurs in the staging industry, and remain the top stagers in their areas by attending continuing education courses offered to stay up to date on the industry and staging techniques.
